Water jet cleaning matched to your job
A Pressure Jet Machine is a high-performance cleaning system that uses high-pressure water jets to clean, strip, and sanitize a wide range of surfaces and materials. Whether it’s for industrial cleaning, surface preparation, or maintenance tasks, a pressure jet machine offers an efficient, non-abrasive, and eco-friendly solution for removing dirt, grease, rust, paint, scale, and other contaminants from surfaces.
Our pressure jet machines are built to handle a wide variety of cleaning tasks across multiple industries, offering both high pressure and high flow rates for effective cleaning.
How a pressure jet machine works
A pressure jet machine uses high-pressure water streams to remove contaminants, clean surfaces, and prepare materials for further processing. The system consists of the following components:
Main system components
High-Pressure Pump: Delivers water at pressures ranging from 500 bar to 2800 bar, depending on the application and cleaning requirements
Nozzles: Rotary or fixed nozzles direct high-pressure water at the surface, effectively dislodging contaminants like dirt, grime, and paint
Hoses & Lances: Flexible hoses allow for deep penetration and reach into tight or hard-to-access areas, while lances direct the water jet precisely
Control System: Regulates the water pressure, flow rate, and nozzle movement to optimize cleaning performance based on the type of surface and contamination
Water Recovery System (Optional): Collects, filters, and reuses water for sustainable and eco-friendly operation

Pressure jet machine sizing checklist
Pressure is only half the answer; flow, power source and duty hours matter just as much. Check these points before you ask for a quote.
The cleaning job
Vehicle washing, floor cleaning, machinery degreasing, paint or rust removal, tank cleaning or outdoor surfaces.
Pressure band
As a guide: 30–100 bar for light cleaning, 100–200 bar for vehicles and floors, 200–350 bar for machinery and heavy dirt, and above 350 bar for paint, rust and heavy industrial work.
Flow
Higher flow cleans large areas and flushes debris faster; lower flow suits focused work and saves water.
Power source
Electric for factories and workshops with stable power, diesel for outdoor, remote or mobile cleaning.
Duty hours and mounting
Hours of use per day, and whether you need a skid, trailer or vehicle-mounted unit.
Nozzles, detergent and water recovery
Jet, fan or rotary nozzles, a detergent nozzle for oil and grease, and optional water recovery if discharge is restricted.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to what buyers ask us most. Can’t find yours? Ask our team.
What is a pressure jet machine used for?
It removes dirt, grease, mud, paint, rust, scale and other deposits using high pressure water. Typical uses include vehicles, factory floors, walls, machinery, tanks, pipes and outdoor surfaces, as well as surface preparation before painting or coating. Different jobs need different pressure, flow and nozzles, so tell us what you plan to clean before choosing a model.
How does a pressure jet machine work?
A triplex plunger pump, driven by an electric motor, diesel engine or hydraulic drive, raises the water pressure and releases it through a nozzle. Hoses and lances carry the jet to the work area, and a control system regulates pressure and flow to suit the surface.
What pressure do I need for my cleaning job?
As a guide, 30–100 bar suits light cleaning, 100–200 bar suits vehicle and floor cleaning, 200–350 bar suits machinery and heavy dirt, and above 350 bar is used for paint removal, rust removal and heavy industrial cleaning. Flow also matters, so share both when asking for a quote.
Should I choose an electric or diesel pressure jet machine?
Choose electric for factories, workshops and fixed cleaning bays with stable power, as it is quieter and has no exhaust. Choose diesel for outdoor work, remote sites and mobile cleaning where power is not available. Each drive can be skid, trailer or vehicle mounted to suit how you work.
Can a pressure jet machine remove paint and rust?
Yes, when the correct pressure, nozzle and spray distance are used. Higher pressures are generally needed for paint, coatings and rust, and a rotary nozzle or surface cleaner helps give an even result on large areas. Test on a small area first to confirm the surface is not being damaged.
Can a pressure jet machine damage surfaces?
Yes, if the pressure is too high, the nozzle is too narrow or it is held too close. Clean delicate surfaces with lower pressure, a wider fan nozzle and more distance, and test on a small area first. Ask us for a nozzle and pressure recommendation for sensitive surfaces.
Which nozzle should I use?
A narrow jet nozzle suits stubborn dirt and focused cleaning. A wider fan nozzle suits general cleaning and large surfaces. Rotary nozzles combine impact with coverage, and a soap nozzle applies detergent at low pressure. Nozzle size must also match the pump's flow so that pressure is maintained.
Do I need detergent with a pressure jet machine?
Not always. Water alone is often enough for dust and normal dirt. For oil, grease, stains or heavy contamination, a suitable detergent improves results. Where discharge rules are strict, an optional water recovery system can collect and filter the water.
What maintenance does a pressure jet machine need?
Check hoses and fittings for wear, clean inlet filters and nozzles, check pump oil, and flush the machine after use. Replace plunger seals and valves when pressure starts to drop. Regular care extends pump life and keeps pressure steady. Store the machine drained and protected from frost or dust when not in use.
